our portfolio

we work with artists & makers, growers & practitioners, in hospitality & with charities …

With years of experience in web design and creative content management, we have brought those skills together in easypeasyDigital. We wanted to create a digital services company that would support small businesseses; knowing that they have interesting stories to tell and are often let down by large agencies that hold back access behind layers of extra cost. We promise not to do that.

These are just a few of the inspirational people who we work with and who have become our friends …

rachel bower baskets

artisan basket weaver

rachelbowerbaskets.co.uk

Rachel Bower is a willow basketmaker fully rooted in Angus, NE Scotland who makes strong and functional baskets for everyday use. Colour and lines are leading features of her work. She is inspired by the meaning and memories that objects can hold within them and at the heart of her practice is a desire to make beautiful and distinctive pieces that will last for the next generation and collect their own stories over time.  The aim of the project was to build on the strength of her Instagram following and create a visually strong website that was simple and clean, allowing her incredible work to speak for itself. As an artisanal maker managing the e-commerce stock levels for her ‘made to order’ classic collection was key to the project alongside the means to showcase her small batch seasonal work and share news of exhibitions and press coverage.

john blackburn mbe

Modern British Artist
johnblackburnartist.com

Internationally renowned artist John Blackburn began painting in the 1960s. We were hugely honoured to work with him, his biographer and his galleries worldwide, carefully curating a selection of his work through the decades and using his monograph to create content for the site. The website needed to capture John as an artist, his life and his work, giving clear direction to the website visitor to discover more through the galleries that hold his work and the recently published book.

boon & up

sustainable fabric & homeware
boonandup.com

Jonathan Hall, artist and teacher, whilst volunteering in the far north of Ghana noticed many women using rudimentary looms to weave beautiful fabrics. Creating new wider looms and an infrastructure of support, Boon & Up enabled the women to create higher quality fabrics on a larger scale to reach a wider international audience. Boon & Up now offer a range of homeware products together with a collection of fabrics sold by the metre. The aim of the project is to provide badly needed employment for the women of the area, and 20% of profits will be returned to the community to fund projects that create further employment opportunities. easypeasyDigital’s website project started from scratch, with only a logo and the products as our starting point. We took inspiration from Jonathan’s exceptional photography, built an e-commerce website, set up social media and helped build a mailing list for his newsletter. We continue to work with Jonathan as he develops their range of products.

rosehip

tweed bags lovingly made in scotland
rosehip.scot

Based in Scotland, Rosalie Benoy crafts beautiful handbags using Harris Tweed; the shape and form of these unique pieces are inspired by the landscapes of the Outer Hebrides. The project started from scratch, with only a logo and the products as our starting point. We sourced imagery and arranged photoshoots, set up social media and helped build a mailing list for her newsletter. We continue to work with Rose as she develops the range of Harris Tweed products she makes. She loved the site so much, that subsequently we have created a brand-aligned website for her eco farm stay farmtounecoholidays.co.uk.

iris and wilf

seasonal cut flowers
irisandwilf.co.uk

Tess Wardman, supported by her family, is a flower grower in Gloucestershire, specialising in British flowers for local businesses, DIY weddings, events, workshops and florists. A fledgling business that is set to grow exponentially in the coming years, Iris & Wilf were seeking guidance through the early stages of social media set-up and branding; in addition to creating a website that would raise their profile locally and that could be used as a tool to help customers make buying decisions. We continue to manage the site, future proofing functionality and keeping it as fresh and beautiful as the flowers she grows.

canterbury bears

hand-made british collectables
canterburybears.com

Based just outside Canterbury, this family business have been hand-making beautiful bears for 30 years. A traditional company with a small workshop and an extensive customer base: wholesale, gift market and collectors. Canterbury Bears had an existing website that was difficult to manage, often failing at checkout. They were keen to embrace the digital world; focussing on the need for both online sales and healthy wholesale relationships. We managed the transition from their old site, creating a new site, with new hosting and improved functionality, that effectively tells their extraordinary story. We continue to administer their site and now manage their marketing and PR, supporting collaborations and partnerships.
